- Make sure Riddle of the Sphinx™ is not running.
- Locate your save file. Navigate to your user’s library folder, i.e., Mac HD/Users/John/Library. Sometimes the Library folder is hidden. Press “Shift” + “CMD” + “.”. This command shows hidden folders.Then under library, find Application Support/com.OldWorldStudios.RiddleoftheSphinx-TheAwakening/autosave.txt.Note: if you bought the game through GOG, the folder is named “com.OldWorldStudios.ROTS-GOG”, or on Mac app store, the folder is named “com.OldWorldStudios.ROTS-HD-MacOS”
- Open the autosave.txt file in TextEdit.
- Search the autosave.txt file for “AutoRetrievalActive”, and change the “false” value too “true”. You can search the file by pressing “CMD” + “f”.
- Search the autosave.txt file for “AutoRetrievalTimeRemaining”, and change the “420.0” value to “400.0”.
- Search the autosave.txt file for “PYRShaftDoorOpen”, and change the “false” value too “true”.
- Search the autosave.txt file for “PYRKingsBlockCocked”, and change the “false” value to “true”.
- Search the autosave.txt file for “PYRNicheOpen”, and change the “false” value to “true”.
- Save the file, and launch the game. The robot puzzle will be completely bypassed.
